We are all related
Yoga, Somatics and Self-Compassion,
rooted in non-judgemental connected presence and
non-harming.
Hi, my Name is Sonja! I would like to share..
This is a place for the holistic integration of body, mind, and heart.
Of mindful and embodied presence, warm-hearted compassion and authentic humanity.
These practices can bring us into a felt experience, a deep connection to ourself and our human potential as part of this world.

Let's start with the practice of ahimsa - non-harming.
This is a philosophical concept understood as refraining from violence against ourselves and other living beings.
Every living being on this planet wants to live a free, peaceful, free from pain and suffering and well-nourished life according to their species capacity to flourish, in the here and now, in everyday life.
What does that mean for us human beings?
After basic needs are met,
we need physical, emotional, psychological and
social nourishment, as well as flourishing creatively, spiritually, purposefully and intellectually.
I would like to nourish a few of those parts of daily life together with you by sharing yogic and somatic practices, grounded in compassion.

My body becomes an extension of this patch of earth, or the earth becomes an extension of my own body.
David Abram

Yoga
as philosophy and science of experience.
that offers self-discovery, spiritual transformation, and union with the divine. The union of body, mind and heart.
Embodiment
and Somatics is a broad field but generally speaking can offer tools to explore oneself as an unfolding biological and planetary process.
We can learn again how to feel the body's communication and to allow its expression.
Compassion
Meeting ourself in a practice of mindful and somatic self-compassion offers safety, loving-kindness and non-judgemental presence.
This is a very short and insufficient description of these practices, as they are also linked to philosophical theories, religious views and anthropological teachings, which are continuously subject to studies and discourse. The issue deserves great respect and thorough study. So be wary of letting Social Media and Marketing language be your main resource of information. Because if this vast potential of study I would like to focus for now on non-violence and connection.
